The Anatomic Pathology Laboratory is heavily exposed to the risk of chemical contamination of the working environment, for this reason vapours containing harmful substances must be suctioned.
The malfunction or improper maintenance of ventilated workstations in the laboratory is a source of risk for the health of the operator.
Diapath, in its continuous effort to improve the offered services and the quality of its products, introduces in its ventilated workstations the patented electronic control system RFID able to detect and save filtering battery expiry date.
The filtering batteries must be periodically replaced with original spare parts approved and certified by the manufacturer.
Each filtering battery is composed of: synthetic fiber pre-filter, activated charcoal filter and, where possible, HEPA filter.
Technical features
La batteria filtrante è composta da elementi in fibre sintetiche, in grado di rimuovere le particelle di polvere più grandi. L'utilizzo previene l'intasamento prematuro dei filtri attivati, in modo da aumentare la longevità e l'efficacia dei micro granuli di carbone presenti nella parte successiva del filtro.
I filtri a carboni attivi intrappolano e disattivano gli agenti inquinanti. L’attivazione del carbone è un processo fisico-chimico mediante il quale si creano, all’interno di ogni granulo, milioni di microscopici pori (20 – 500 Å); ne consegue l’aumento della capacità adsorbente e di scambio: da 1200 a 2000 m2/g.
