Job Title: CONTROLLER
Role Overview:
Oversee the effective utilization of company resources and provide support to plant managers by defining appropriate management tools and reporting the results achieved.
Reports and Structure:
Reports directly to the CFO IT
Collaborates with colleagues in Italy, the Managing Director IT, and the CFO in the USA
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with market units to define the budget, monitor progress, and analyze variances based on actual results.
- Analyze production variances, stock valuation, and slow-moving inventory analysis.
- Prepare monthly reports and conduct analyses of operational and management KPIs, including variance analysis.
- Develop financial projections (forecasting).
- Manage applications for subsidized financing and public funding opportunities.
- Participate in the planning system development across all company departments, assisting in the preparation, coordination, and consolidation of the budget and medium-to-long-term planning.
- Support the definition and preparation of monthly management reporting, including the results derived from both general and analytical accounting, as well as reporting related to production, sales, R&D, and marketing.
- Contribute to establishing the foundational tools for planning and control at the plant level (e.g., production KPIs and specific production reports).
- Identify weaknesses and risks in the plant, as well as any opportunities or initiatives that could improve results.
- Conduct profitability studies for investment projects, assessing their potential impact on costs and performing prior control evaluations.
- Actively participate in defining administrative procedures and policies that streamline processes and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) or professional certifications (CPA, Chartered Accountant) preferred.
- Five/Eight years of experience in controlling.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Business Intelligence tools, and financial modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changes in the global market
- Strong organizational skills for managing work and projects, especially in startup or change management environments.
